Bass Player With A Hook

For Dr. John, here's a video of a bald guy wearing sunglasses wailing on the bass guitar with one hand.

Thanks Em, My gosh, that guy can play better with his left hand than 99% of bass players can play with both. He must have incredible left hand strength as all his notes are played by hammering on or pulling off. I note he is playing a Fender Jazz Bass with a capo at the first fret so his open strings will sound right. The drummer is holding back so as not to steal the bassist's thunder but he is quite good too. An example of people's incredible ability to rise above disability. Django Reinhart (deceased) is recognised as one of the greatest jazz guitar players of all time and he had three digits on his left hand.

Actually, when you realise Victor Wooten, a mild, soft-spoken humourous guy who becomes an inhuman freakazoid on the bass - and plays a Fender Jazz most often you realise how moronic Richard's comment is. Mr. Wooten is the world's greatest electric bass player since the genius Leo Fender invented them in 1951. He absolutely RULES. Guys like Flea and Les Claypool whorship him.
