Weird site index Portal of Evil posted a link to Conservativepunk.com and the normally quiet comments section went nuts.
I post this so you can see how defining the meaning and politics of punk is a lose-lose proposition. The very act of defining it disqualifies you from knowing what you're talking about.
If you remember the alt. groups, this level of intelligence and insight ruined those quickly. Remember such memorable topics as "It's 8:15 and I'm Bored" and "Any girls out there?". Ah yes, to be young, dumb and full of fun.

The irony is, a lot of the commenters there tend to lean towards the liberal side of things - it's the reason I got tired of PoE News. It's hard to put up with a site where a lot of the commenters there used the EXACT SAME "I'M MOVING TO FRANCE!" joke when George W. Bush was re-elected.

Cameron, you're home! Your mother and I were so worried. Were you playing heavy metal with your little friends again? That's nice. Now wash up and we'll all have a nice dinner and then some hot chocolate before bedtime, ok?
And regarding Portal Of Evil viewers, most can't even leave mom's house, forget about moving to France.
