According to Moscow newspapers, Stalin told the scientist: "I want a new invincible human being, insensitive to pain, resistant and indifferent about the quality of food they eat."
Yup, when yer gonna breed an army of human-monkey super soldiers, make sure they come equipped with bland taste buds.

Y'know, Hitler seems to get all the press about being the crazy as hell evil WWII guy, even on the History Channel. But Stalin was just as evil and just as crazy, yet almost no one ever seems to mention it.
Hell, there are a couple of Communist Youth Brigade idiots on my campus who absolutely idolize the iron man.
Makes me happy to see a story like this.

Well, at one time people who lived on a tiny group of islands named Great Britain ruled most of the world, and having lived there, I can say their food is TASTELESS. Maybe Josef Dugashvilli was on to something....
